Click OK

Click Close

Restart the machine

It's mentioned in the comments for the initial R2 installation, but it seems worthwhile to also mention here that you need to either install a role or feature on the server to get the .NET Framework 3.5.1 Features installed before proceeding with this fix. They will not install without the .NET feature installed.

Ok, I have discovered this will NOT install if you have manually installed either items 6 or 7 (my guess is 7). I received the error that this update is not applicable to this computer. I finally went back to my base image, skipped those steps, ran the SharePoint Pre-requisite installer and it worked correctly.
